THE LODGE
The Rio Azul Lodge is a two story log cabin
built for us by local farmers using traditional techniques and hardwoods from the surrounding forests.

The lodge has three bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. The three bedrooms each have two beds and provide comfortable accommodations for two anglers each. One bed and bath is located on the first floor of the lodge and the other two comprise the entire second story.

The first floor also contains the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Dinner and breakfast are served in the dinning room while lunches are taken on the river daily. The lodge also has incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the Futaleufu Valley. Evenings offer the opportunity to have a glass of good Chilean wine, relax on the deck, and view the Southern Cross.
Water at the lodge is fed by gravity from a spring on a nearby hillside. Though the water is potable we always provide bottled water to our guests. We also have plenty of hot water for showers. Water pressure is provided by an electric pump located outside the structure. Yes thats right, we do have electricity in the middle of the nothing. In an attempt to make the lodge as comfortable as possible and also in the interest of having a good time we have equipped our deck with a wood fired hot tub. We like to provide our guests with the opportunity to relax as hard as they fish.
